This was taken in an experimental apartment complex designed by the architect Le Corbusier and built in 1952. Brunella was very impressed. The concept is that the building is like a small city and the apartments span the whole width of the building so they enjoy light in morning and afternoon. It's called the Unite d'Habitation.
